Düsseldorf Trade Fair was founded in 1947 and currently employs over 1400 people worldwide. The Group's annual turnover amounted to around EUR 304 million in 2006. Some 26,300 exhibitors displayed their wares to over 1.3 million visitors on a gross floor space of around 264.000 m², divided into 19 halls.

Of around 40 events in Düsseldorf, over 20 are benchmark exhibitions in their sector. The international network of the Messe Düsseldorf group of companies consists of 66 foreign agencies for 109 countries and 13 direct holdings and subsidiaries. The Group boasts 40 years' experience of foreign trade fairs all over the world.
